Dear Cape Fear Soccer Classic and Challenge Parents,

Cape Fear Soccer has long been dedicated to creating the best environment possible for our young soccer players. You are valued members in our club and we seek to provide programs that you are interested in and support.

Recently I began discussing the implementation of a system that will help our Classic and Challenge coaches better monitor your child's development. The system and its tools, called the Cape Fear Player Tracker, monitors information from each athlete on our competitive teams across the four pillars of player development; physical, technical, neurocognitive functioning, and athletic behavioral tendencies.

The Cape Fear Player Tracker takes a long-term view of development, enabling our organization to monitor players as they grow physically, emotionally, and mentally from young children through young adults. This is something that we would like all of our players to participate in so that we may provide better feedback and communication on their progress in soccer and so that you may have access to that information more easily.

Enclosed is a synopsis of the Cape Fear Player Tracker, summarizing benefits relevant to our club. The Cape Fear Player Tracker will:
  • Enable the monitoring of family and club "investments" in training
  • Improve understanding of each child's physical & mental development, confidentially
  • Improve communication between players, parents, the coaches, and administration

We are excited to introduce this program and know that you will find as much value as we do in this new partnership with EXACT Sports and our collective endeavor. The testing at the field will incorporate and capture 5 dimensions of physical ability and characteristics, and players will find the tests simple and fun . The information gathered will be invaluable as an aid to development as an athlete. Go to the following link for a demo of the diagnostics that your young soccer player will have at their disposal.
